The Moon Inside You

« The Moon Inside You » is an introspective exploration consisting of self-portraits taken with a Polaroid camera, where Elodie uses her own blood to alter the film. This series also includes Polaroid Round Frame photographs that she soaks in her menstrual blood. The result of the symbiosis between her blood and the Polaroid evokes a lunar and organic world. This series has allowed her to experiment with the intersection of performance and photography. The Polaroid carries her DNA: her body has become both a creative tool and a means of destruction.
